STEVEN MEYERS

On Monday, May 16th Steven Paul Meyers, aged 50 passed away at ThedaCare in Appleton with family by his side. 

Steven was the beloved son of late James Ward Meyers and Beverly A. Meyers(Hoelzel), born on October 29th, 1971. Steven grew up on Doty Island in Menasha. Where he also went to Menasha High School and was in Menasha band. He was very easy to make friends with as he was always such a kind and funny person. He was a very unforgettable person especially with all the pranks he would play.  Unfortunately he did struggle with addiction with addiction which did happened to take the best of him. Steve met his long life partner JoAnn Meyers and ended up moving to Mobile, Alabama for a fresh life. Steve did get his fresh life and ended up being clean for 16 years. When Steve and Joann found out they were pregnant they moved back in Wisconsin where he ended up running Millwood Inc. where he met so many great friends, it seemed they maybe had more fun than doing work but ran it well. When their daughter, Madison(now 21) was born Steve gave her the best childhood, They were best friends. Steve and Madison were quite inseparable, wherever you saw him, you saw her. Some of their favorite things to do together was fishing, playing WII sports, watching Scooby Doo movies and any Johnny Depp and Adam Sandler movies as well as just doing anything they could together. Madison took everything after her dad and has learned many many things shell always use in life from him, He always made sure she would be set for life. She looked up after her dad and always wanted to be just like him and continues to. Steven had passions of fishing, boating, cars, cooking, camping, Menasha Dock Club, football games, and family, also, any type of party but his biggest passions were his daughter, Madison and his dog, Turk.

Steven was the life of the party, he was charismatic, funny, and knew how to make anyone welcomed. Steve was still very well know around the Fox Valley for helping with peoples Cras, lawnmowers, and snow blowers , especially when he worked at Kruger's in Menasha. He was a very helpful person and was willing to help anyone even if it was difficult. Steve was very very loved by any and everyone who met him. He did end up having an amazing life with everything he had did prior to with the  good people he ended up meeting. He made a big impact and left marks on each and everyone's heart he met.

He is further survived by his daughter Madison Meyers, life partner JoAnn Meyers, Sister Deborah J. Lee, brother in law (Bob Lee), brother James G. Meyers, Nieces; Chandra (Lee) Sierra (Jesus Sierra), Charissa (Lee) Kunstman (Jason Kunstman), Nephews; Quintin Lee (Deseray Llamas), Qulin Lee (Jackie Humphrey), and many great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Steven is proceeded in death by his father James Ward Meyers, Grandparents; Helen and Leo Wahl, Ruben and Betty Hoelzel, dog/mans best friend Turk Meyers.

Memorial Service for Steven will be 12:00PM, on Monday August 15th, at Whiting Boat House, 98 5th Street, Neenah, WI. Visitation from 10am-12pm, with lunch and drinks after.
