Obituary
Dennis L. Potter, age 79, passed away peacefully and joined his daughter in heaven on Sunday, May 22, 2022. He was born on November 4, 1942 to the late Thomas and Marion Potter and resided in Neenah. Denny married Mary Behnke on September 16, 1967, and their marriage was blessed with 54 years together. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy before joining the workforce and ultimately working at Banta Corporation for 35 years. Denny enjoyed playing golf, spending time at his cottage on Lake Poygan, and driving his golf cart. He had an appreciation for a good cigar, cocktail and steak grilled to perfection. Denny was known to have an infectious smile and a deep devotion to his family. He was loved dearly by his family and will be truly missed.
Denny is survived by his wife Mary Potter, son Brian (Kari) Potter, brother Terry (Geraldine) Potter, brother-in-law Robert (Mary) Behnke, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter Christine Potter, brother Tom Potter, brother-in-law Harlan Behnke, sister-in-law Helen Behnke, mother and father in-law Ellen & Carl Behnke, and his parents.
A private graveside service will be held along with a celebration of life at a future date.
