MARK MODERSON

Mark L. Moderson, age 60, left us too soon on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. He was born on March 15, 1962 to the late Marvin and Shirley Moderson and was raised in Neenah. Mark joined the military out of high school and proudly served in the U.S. Army. He loved grilling a good steak, riding his motorcycle, and enjoying a good NASCAR race. Mark had a passion for music, and he had a very impressive collection of albums. Mark loved going to concerts and having a good time with family and friends. He was affectionately known as “MOTI” and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mark is survived by his children Dana Honick and Maddie Moderson, grandchildren Jersey Marsh, Austin Caston, and Jaden Caston, very special friend Patricia Peters, brother Karl (special friend Dee) Moderson, sister Sherry (David Jr.) Wall, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter Tonya Moderson, brother Dennis Moderson, his parents Marvin and Shirley Moderson, and James DeTroye.

The memorial service for Mark will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty Avenue, Neenah. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established. A celebration of his life is being planned for a later date.
