Obituary
Brian Einar Olson, age 63, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born May 31, 1958, in Neenah, son of the late Einar and Dorothy Olson.
Brian graduated from Neenah High School in 1976. He married Janette Heldt on September 22, 2002. Brian was employed with Theda Clark Medical Center for 39 years until his retirement, and more recently for Kroger/Pick ‘n Save. He loved singing and listening to Elvis, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and all the old country songs. He had a wonderful voice. He was an avid Packer fan and loved his computer games.
Brian had an infectious laugh and smile and he was a kind and caring individual. He was a loving friend and mentor to his nephew Lucas. They were “buds.”
Survivors include his wife, Janette; two daughters: Hadley (Jeremy) Haney, Stephanie Van Vreede; four grandchildren: Raylan and Priya Haney, Logan and Lincoln Noto; three sisters: Barbara Trzcinski, Beth (David) Birling, Brynne (David) Rank; a brother, Brent (June) Olson; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, an uncle, and cousins.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Einar Olson, a very special uncle, Mickel Olson, a brother-in-law, William Trzcinski, and in-laws Don and Judy Heldt, and other dear family members.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
