KARL MODERSON

Karl J. Moderson, age 64, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. He was born on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 1958 to the late Marvin and Shirley Moderson. Karl worked for over 35 years at Kimberly Clark before retiring. He had many passions in life, and one of them was being at WIR. Karl was a family man at heart who was always there in a time of need. He made sure to be present for life's important moments, especially with his grandchildren. Karl enjoyed playing dart ball and tinkering around in his garage. He was an avid collector of many things and always appreciated a good deal, especially if he had a coupon. Karl had many good times going out to dinner with Dee at Michiels, and he had his famous phrase of “Just One More” when they were out having a good time.

Karl is survived by his partner Dee, children Trish (Josh) Welzien, Joshua (Nicole) Moderson, Melinda (Leon Shaw) Moderson, and Jessica (Keith Johnson) Jole, grandchildren Abigail, Khia, Aiden, Alex, Jackson, Drake, Maxwell, Marcus, Ashton, and Kyla, great-grandchild Ka'Liah, sister Sherry (David) Wall, along with many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Shirley Moderson and brothers Dennis Moderson and Mark Moderson.

A time of visitation will be held at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty Avenue, on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Visiting time will conclude with a prayer service at 4:00 pm at the funeral Home.

Karl's family would like to give a sincere thank you to the Neenah and Menasha first responders for their extraordinary efforts to revive him.
