KAREN HEEBNER

Karen LeeAnn Heebner, age 78, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, July 4, 2022. She was born on March 24, 1944 to the late Delbert and Blanche Krause in Milwaukee. Karen worked as a LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) for 40 years before retiring. She truly loved taking care of the elderly and brightening their days. Karen married Tom Heebner on August 19, 1967 in Hales Corners and were blessed with nearly 55 years of marriage. She cherished the time spent with her family, especially when she was with her daughter and granddaughters. Karen looked forward to going to the PAC with them and treasured all their memories together. Her daughter gave her a picture of her in her wheelchair, surrounded by her granddaughters and herself at the PAC, and the frame says "Always My Mom, Forever My Friend".

In her later years, she enjoyed riding along with Tom on the golf cart while he played. Tom often told his wife that she was the best thing that ever happened to him. Karen will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Tom Heebner, daughter Carla (Scott) Rankin, granddaughters Alyssa and Ava Rankin, along with many other family and friends. Karen was preceded in death by her parents and brother Delbert Krause, Jr.

The memorial service for Karen will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at New Hope Lutheran Church, 1850 American Drive, Neenah. Visitation will be held at the church from 4:30 pm until the time of the service.
