Mary Beth Van De Loo

Obituary

Mary Beth (Hanegraaf) Van De Loo (1934-2025) 91 passed away on December 28, 2025. She was born August 7, 1934, in Kimberly, WI, the youngest of seven children. In her prime, Mary Beth loved to camp, read, travel and spend time with loved ones. And while her enjoyment of her family and friends continued to the very last day of her blessed life, she had to put the brakes on the other activities that brought her joy. A special thanks to Moments Hospice for providing excellent care to her as she navigated her last moments. Thanks, as well to the staff at Lakeshore manor for their consistent, loving care while she resided there, from June-December.  We are thrilled that she will finally be reunited with the love of her life, her late husband, Jim Van De Loo. She was also preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Beth, with whom her reunion will be so very sweet.

She is survived by 6 children, David Marquardt, Reed Van De Loo, Michael Marquardt (Kelly), Joel Marquardt, Jetta Salzer (Mark) and Kristen Loveland (Jeff).

She will be missed greatly by her 13 grandchildren: Kelly, Lucas, Jestiene (Mark), Brandon (Mae), Josh (Christie), Jake (Mandy), Molly (Nate), Caitlin (Ross), Jonah (Maggie), Sophie, Aidan (Brooke), Hannah (Tony), Paige and 15 great grandchildren: Blake, Avery, Greysen, Jackson, Garrett, Kyden, Gracie, Harper, Max, Sawyer, Henry, Walker, Woods, Hunter and Benji.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by a short service held at Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty, Neenah, WI on January 10th at 3:00 pm.

I knew Mary Beth when she lived at Bella Vista. I remember her as a kind and loving woman who shared her smile and good humor with all she knew. I know she is at peace and happy to be with those who greeted her to her heavenly home. Her eternal rest is well deserved. Sincere condolences to her family Judie Peterson
