JANICE MARTIN

Janice Elizabeth Martin, age 78, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022 peacefully at home. She was born on August 21, 1943 in Fond du Lac, WI; daughter of the late Roland Mayer and Della (Jouno) Mayer Hoffman. On August 19, 1961 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, the late Harold H. Martin.

Janice's fondest memories in life were spending time with her family. She would cook for an army and insist on not having any leftovers. She spent her summers on camping adventures with her family and was always smiling and laughing. She took care of so many around her and did so until the day she passed.

Janice was an amazing woman who will be missed by her son, Jeff (Sue) Martin, Appleton; grandchildren: Amy (Andrew) Formanek; Carrie (Andy) Schultz; and Greg (Crystal Flaherty) Martin; granddaughter-in-law, Jenny Kirchner Jolly; great-grandchildren: Emilee and Carson Jolly; Calvin, Nathan, and Olivia Formanek; and by her sister, Jean Duginski.

She will be reunited with the love of her life, Harold Martin. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Martin; brother, Donald Mayer; and her grandson, Michael Jolly.

A memorial service for Janice will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home, Rev. Rebecca Henry officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

The family would like to thank the staff with Theda Care at Home Hospice, especially her nurse, Jolene, for her compassionate care that comforted Janice. They would also like to recognize all of her family members and neighbors who helped along the way.
