Obituary
Vern A. Brusewitz, age 96, died peacefully on Sunday, August 21, 2022. He grew up and worked on his father's farm in Black Creek, WI. When the farm was sold, Vern and his family moved to Neenah, where he worked at Kimberly Clark until his retirement.
Vern had many interests: flying small planes as a young man, fishing, sturgeon spearing, deer hunting, photography, making maple syrup, traveling, collecting lots of stuff and spending many hours maintaining his 40 acre woods.
Vern was an active member of the Larsen Winchester Lions Club, EAA, and Faith United Methodist Church of Neenah.
Vern is survived by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Mary Brusewitz; a brother, Lowell Brusewitz; and nephews: Bob Bernhardt, Allen Schneider and Roger Schneider. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marcia Brusewitz; two sisters: Lois Bernhardt, Audrey Schneider; nephew, David Bernhardt; and a niece, Barbara Bernhardt.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Faith United Methodist Church, 1025 Tullar Rd., Neenah, with Rev. Tim Albrecht officiating. The visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Larsen Winchester Lions Club OR Faith United Methodist Church in Vern's name.
