Arlene was a kind and wonderful woman. My family lived across the street from the Gomoll’s for 50 years. John Gomoll and I have been friends for 66 years. Mrs. Gomoll always looked after the neighbor kids like me and always was interested in what we doing after we grew up. Like many Neenah neighborhoods in the 50’s and 60’s, Caroline street was a magical place to grow up. I am having a Manhattan tonight in her honor.
