Obituary

Arthur Jacobs, age 55, passed away with his wife by his side on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. He was born on July 2, 1967 to Arthur and Deloris Jacobs and resided in Neenah. Art worked at the Neenah foundry for over 30 years. He married Jean Farrell in December of 1998 and they were blessed with many happy memories together. Art had a passion for motorcycles and felt most at home while riding his Harley. He and Jean enjoyed traveling together, especially when they were able to go to Jamaica. Art was known as a master of smoking meats and took pride in the meals he made. While he was the youngest of seven children, he had a special place in the family as his parent's only son. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed. Art's generosity as an organ donor will benefit innumerable others' lives.  

Art is survived by his wife Jean Jacobs, father Arthur Jacobs, sisters Laura (Jeff) Wolff, Julie (Richard) McKendrick, Theresa (Norman) Bangart, Debra (Tony Koehn) Jacobs, Anita (Jim Wood) Delyea, and Lee Ann (Chris) Salm; sister-in-law Chris (Steve) Hansen, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Deloris Jacobs.

The funeral service for Art will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty Avenue. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until the time of the service. Art will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery in Appleton.

Art, you were a foot taller than me but will always be my “little” brother. We may not have always lived close to one another but you were always close in my heart and thoughts and you always will be. I knew when you met Jean you were in good hands.
