Obituary
Patti Jo “PJ” Shelley, age 64, passed away at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Neenah, the result of a brain aneurysm, on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. She was born December 9, 1957, in Appleton, daughter of James and Rita (Pomrening) Blank.
PJ graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a degree in Interior Design. She was very successful and ran a Interior Design business in Tucson, AZ for many years. PJ had an amazing gift with calligraphy and she was a wonderful cook.
Survivors include her mother, Rita Lemke; 5 brothers and sisters: James Blank, Debra (Tom) Kolasinski, Rodney (Nancy) Blank, Vicky Johnson, Teena (John) Keesler; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
PJ was preceded in death by her father, James Blank; step-father, Vernon Lemke; and a sister, Christine Welhouse.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:30 PM, on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 2:30 PM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
We are grateful for Fr. Bob's compassion and thoughtfulness, spending hours with PJ and her family.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff of ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Neenah, especially Dr. Bhattacharjee, Chaplain Ben, and PJ's 2 special friends, Gail and Lynn, for all their care and compassion.
Death has no sting, as our Savior Jesus Christ promises eternal life to all those who believe in him.
We love you PJ, you made it home. We will see you again.
