I worked with Steve briefly at Theda Clark. It was fun to work with him. as he took a straight forward view of things. A solid mind and good attitude.

In 2008 I was able to meet Steve and family plus all the other Grodes that were in Wisconsin. Traveled from California to Neenah with 1/2 sister Gerri Grode (Jerome was our dad) for get together and chance to see Wisconsin for the first time. Uncles Tut and Chris were still with us at that time and those 2 together were a traveling clown car to be with. Uncle Chris hosted a beer and brauts fest for family and friends. I feel grateful I was able to have had the opportunity to meet everyone. A little while ago I was on the phone with Chris, Mike and Jennie (Burke) 3 of Rinties kids and Jennie let us know that Steve had passed via a call from cousin Carl. Sending thoughts as you gather to remember and celebrate his life.
