DOROTHY RIPPL

Dorothy J. (Dotty) Rippl was quietly called home to the Lord on October 26, 2022, passing away peacefully with her sons by her side, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

Dotty was born November 1,1954 in Easton, PA. to the late John and Verna Garis and moved to Wisconsin in the late 1960s. She was a 1972 graduate of Neenah High School. Dotty went on to receive a degree in nursing and had a long and dedicated career spanning 40 years. Dotty found her true calling in the Emergency Room at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, where she made many lifelong friends. Dotty portrayed to her children and to those around her a service above self-attitude toward life and did her best to instill that in her children, always trying to put her own problems aside to help others. Besides spending time with family and friends, Dotty had a passion for boating, traveling to Jamaica and taking care of her dogs. Dotty had a fun and caring personality and was known to be an excellent party host!

Dotty was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sons Jason Rippl (Marnie Spielbauer) and Justin (Alicia) Rippl and her grandchildren Will (5) Beau (4) and Elle (1) along with her brother Eric (Caroleen) Garis.

A celebration of Life (mom enjoyed a good party) will be held upstairs at Greene's Pour House, 134 W Wisconsin Ave, Neenah on Saturday, November 19th from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
