Obituary

Betty Jane Woppert (nee' LaValley) died Sunday October 30, 2022. She was born August 6, 1934, in Escanaba Michigan, daughter of the late Joseph and Lucille (Henry) LaValley.

Betty married Earl Woppert on May 12, 1957. Earl preceded Betty in death on April 8, 1980.

Betty was a loyal employee of KCS Industries for many years, but her role as matriarch of her family was what fulfilled her most.

Betty is survived by her three children; two daughters: Helen Christensen, and Susan (Mark) Hanson; and son, Franklin (Mary) Woppert; nine grandchildren: Earl Wick, Kristina (Bryan) Harnett, Angela Seng, Eric (Christine) Minch, Ryan (Jamie) Minch and Alex (Amy) Minch, Joseph, Nicholas, Franklin (Nikki Brown) Woppert ; 11 great grandchildren: Austen Seng, Audrey Seng, Jayce, Lokklyn and Paxtynn Minch, Morgan and Gemma Minch,  Angelina Minch, and Preslee, Franklin and Chevy Woppert.  

Visitation for Betty will be 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, on Thursday November 3, 2022, at Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W Doty Ave, Neenah. Visitation will continue Friday afternoon November 4, 2022, beginning at 2:00 PM at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3100 S 41st Street, Milwaukee, with a Mass of Christian burial for Betty to begin at 3:00 PM, with Fr. David Filut officiating. Burial will be at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, 3801 S 6th Street, Milwaukee, on Saturday November 5 at 11:00 AM.

 Friend to many but Grandma Betty to all. Her absence leaves a void in countless hearts.
