STEPHEN HARWOOD

Stephen R. Harwood, age 81, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. He was born on June 27, 1941 to the late Alan and Mary Harwood. He married Cynthia Thom on June 23, 1973, and they were blessed with 49 years together. Stephen had the gift of gab and could strike up a conversation anywhere and with anyone. While he enjoyed speaking with others, he treasured hearing about his children's and grandchildren's lives. Stephen enjoyed traveling, maps and atlases, reading the newspaper in its entirety, and watching sports. He was a tremendously proud father and grandfather who cherished the times spent with his family. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

Stephen is survived by his wife Cynthia Harwood, daughters Katharine (John) Barry and Allison (Nate) Roth, grandchildren Jake Barry, Ethan Barry, Ella Barry, Henry Roth, and Clara Roth. He was preceded in death by his parents along with his sister Judie (Bill) Glasgow.

A memorial service for Stephen will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 809 S. Commercial Street, Neenah. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00am until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established. Stephen will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Neenah.
