GERALD DRECHSEL

Gerald A Drechsel, age 89, of Neenah, passed away on November 2, 2022. He was born on April 25, 1933 to the late Walter and Erna Drechsel. He married Karen S. Olsen on October 17, 1953. They spent 68 years together, raising 2 sons, Rick and Gary.

Gerald was proud of his service in the National Guard, as a young adult. He worked 42 years at Beloit Manhattan, retiring in 1997. He enjoyed the times spent with his 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed watching various sports, riding his bike, time outside on his patio, and tending to his tomato garden.

Besides his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his wife, Karen S; his brothers, Walter Jr. and James; his sister, Lois (Andrews); and daughter-in-law, Karen L. He is survived by his sister, Shirley (Jorgenson).

We wish to thank Prairie Home Assisted Living for their wonderful care this past year, and recently ThedaCare Hospice. Per Gerald's wishes, no funeral service will be held.
