AMY CHRISTOFFERSON-PRICE

AMY CHRISTOFFERSON-PRICE

July 25, 1961 - November 10, 2022

Obituary

Amy Jo Christofferson-Price, of Menasha, passed away peacefully with her family by her side late Thursday, November 10, 2022. She was born July 25, 1961, to the late James (Jim) and Lillian Christofferson in Neenah where she spent many hours as a child playing in Doty Park. During her childhood, her family spent time at their cabin by Post Lake. The land became a cherished place that all their friends and family would gather at.

Amy's husband, family, friends, and her love for God were the most important things in her life.  She showcased that love through cooking, gardening, antiques, and her devout faith.  When her loved ones joined together, Amy would present the most spectacular displays of delicious foods.  They always left with full bellies and stacks of to-go containers.  To say that she had a green thumb would be an understatement; her yard is so beautiful it should be considered a botanical garden.  Amy's love for antiques was undeniable.  She could find hidden treasures just about anywhere and always had a story to tell with each piece she collected.  Her passion for God was very strong and led her to expand that faith.  Amy and her best friend Marge shared their beliefs and enjoyed visiting many extraordinary religious sites.  Her excitement for a good game of cards was hard to pass up; sheepshead and cribbage were among her favorites.

Amy held several different positions in the food service industry at multiple employers over the years:  Michels, Chi-Chi's, Prime Quarter, Mobile Chef, Kimberly-Clark, Festival Foods, Double Tree to name a few. She also spent some time working in retail:  Shopko, Stein & Garden, and Bookland where she was the store manager until the business closed.  No matter where she worked Amy touched many lives and built friendships that lasted to this day.

Amy will be sadly missed by her husband, Mike Price; by her children: Zachary (Katie) Spang and Micheala (Casey) Lawver; by her grandchildren: Aria and Kiara Spang; and Caiden, Isabella, and Ember Lawver. She will be further missed by her sisters: Dian (Robert) Epp, and Mary Nowak; by her nieces and nephews: Ryan, Elise, Eric, Jenna, Joe and their families; as well as by her closest friends, who were so helpful throughout her illness: Marge, Sue, Lisa, and Laura. She was preceded in death by her siblings:  Jane Christofferson; John Christofferson; Bill Christofferson; and by her brother-in-law, Tim Nowak.

Although Amy is no longer here on earth, we can all find peace knowing she is watching over us from heaven.  Special thanks to the Hospice Team from ThedaCare at Home for all the support, love, and tenderness during Amy's final days.

A memorial service for Amy will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Amy's name.
