April 05, 1945 - November 15, 2022
Obituary
James F. Jensen, age 77, died surrounded by family on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born April 5, 1945, in Neenah, son of the late Waldemar and Lois Jensen. He graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with Bachelor of Business Administration.
Jim married Gail Martin on December 28, 1970. He was a lifelong Neenah resident and loved Neenah Rockets' Boys Basketball. He and Gail were season ticket holders for many years. Jim was also a die-hard Elvis Presley fan. He surrounded himself with Elvis music and memorabilia throughout his adult life.
Jim worked at Kimberly Clark Corporation for over 20 years in internal audit and accounting and traveled to Germany, France, Great Britain, Colombia, South Africa, Japan, and the Philippines. He always returned from his trips with jewelry for Gail and dolls or toys for his daughters. Jim was employed later in his career at Asten Forming Fabrics in Greenville. He loved his job at Asten as a controller and was able to stay closer to home with his family. Jim developed many hobbies in retirement and enjoyed puzzles, aquariums, and building models. He was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Neenah.
Jim will be greatly missed by his wife, Gail; his daughters: Ann “Kiddo” (Bryan) Springborn and Kristine “Punk” (Greg) Gottsacker; three grandchildren: Ethan Springborn, Drew and Clay Krablean; and his loyal companion, Scout.
Per Jim's wishes, there will be no public service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Cancer Society or the Neenah Animal Shelter.
The family would especially like to thank the staff at American Grand in Neenah and Promedica Hospice, and their chaplain, Cliff, for their care of Jim.
