Obituary

Paul William Schultz, age 62, passed away peacefully at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Neenah, on Friday, November 18, 2022.  He was born September 28, 1960, at Theda Clark Medical Center, son of the late Ervin and Ruth Schultz.

Paul was a graduate of Neil Armstrong High School and a life-long resident of Neenah.  He was employed with Cellars Wine and Spirits for 35 years.

Paul was a loving and caring man. He had many friends that he liked to hang around with and he was always willing to help out where he could. Paul could fix anything, and he had the patience to finish the task, no matter how difficult. He would always run into someone he knew when he was out and about. Paul had a nickname for everyone, and he was always quick with a joke.

Paul loved spending time “Up North” in the summertime sitting around the campfire. He enjoyed listening to music and had an extensive collection. Paul just enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Paul will be dearly missed by his two sisters: Karen (Bob) McCorkle, Connie (Jeff) Boe; a niece, Wendy (Ed) Boe; aunt, Pat Schultz; several cousins and many friends.

Paul was preceded in death by aunts, uncles and several cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00pm - 5:00 pm, on Sunday, April 16, 2023, The Dome, 1338 S. Commercial Street, Neenah.

I’ve known Paul for over 30 years. One of the nicest, most kind persons I’ve ever known. He did so much for my Dad, and for me, with house fixes. He loved to help people, and tinker with projects. Shared some good beers and conversations over the years. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Rest In Peace my friend.

My deepest sympathy to all of Paul's family. I'm just in shock to hear of his passing! I knew he had been ill and I hoped he was doing better. Paul had an awesome personality. He was always a blast to talk to at Cellars liquor store. He'd always ask me if I'd like a satchel (rather than a bag), and then we'd laugh! John Stolla and I were lucky to have been able to spend nearly every weekend together with Paul on his long weekends. We all spent our vacation together months ago up north in Pembine.God did we have fun! I just want to close by saying Paul was doing everything the doctors told him as far as medications and getting poked and prodded for months. He was really looking forward to hearing his cancer as well as possibly looking forward to retirement soon. He's still supposed be here. God has greater things in store for him. There is not enough space to put into words how we feel about the loss of Paul. He was like a brother to us. So many fond memories that we will carry in our hearts forever. Us here have lost a wonderful person but heaven has gained one. Rest In Peace now my dear cousin. You will live in our hearts forever.

Paul always had an infectious smile and personality.   From his days delivering pizza for Sammy’s Pizza to his days at Cellars.  Never anything bad to say about anyone.    Never a complaint, no matter what he was going through.   Such a terrific person.   Always a friend.   One more “shot & a beer!”   God’s Blessings!
