Obituary

Gloria Jean DuFay, age 67, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022. She was born on October 27, 1955 to Shirley Westphal and the late Phillip Fehrman. Gloria loved her children and grandchildren dearly and treasured the times spent together. She was always very fun to be around and welcomed anyone to call her Mom. Gloria was blessed with a wonderful singing voice, and she had many great times singing karaoke, especially when Elvis was playing. She was loved dearly and will be tremendously missed by her family and friends.

Gloria is survived by her children Glenn Fehrman, Lee Ann (Sean) Franzen, and Crystal (Jeremiah) Jones, mother Shirley Westphal, step-father Perry (Veronica) Smith, significant other Russell VanHandel, brother Rick (Amy) Smith, step-brother Michael (Cole) Smith, 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Phyllis Mande and father Phil Fehrman.

A celebration of Gloria's life will be held at the Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty Avenue, Neenah on Friday, December 9, 2022 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.

Oh my heart hurts for all of you and myself, Gloria and I were friends since we were 14 years old, and we continued our friendship all these years, I watched all of her children when they were small and we played many games of cards in our time, I knew she was struggling with a lot of her medical issues, but I never felt it was this bad, I guess I never felt that my last friend from school would leave me too I will miss our talks and laughs sis! Rest in peace and say hi to Phyllie for me, I love you both so much!!!

My heart breaks For the family. The couple months I took care of Gloria we got real close. I looked at her as family! She is loved so much. She had the biggest heart I knew. My heart broke when I went to visit her at the hospital. Gloria I will always love you and remember you as a bonus family member. This isn't goodbye 😢 💔. This is I will see you at the heavens gate.

This was a shock to find out about your hospitalization n then to hear you had passed away. Thank you for the many times of being your caregiver. Ill always remember your laugh n smile along with how exited you were to be going to your daughters wedding. Sending prayers to the rest of the family and sincere condolences. Shes now an angel watching over you.

I am so sorry, and me for not knowing that it's been almost a year that you are gone. I should have been paying attention, I always called you my sister and still do. I sure miss the days the three of us sitting around grandmom Cross kitchen table. love you Toni
