Obituary
Ilona Sabo, age 81, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 17, 2023. She was born in Hungary on March 24, 1941. Ilona married Mike Sabo on October 11, 1958 in Vienna, Austria and later immigrated the United States. Ilona loved to dance, travel, and spend time with her family. She had a passion for cooking and enjoyed making meals for her family. She was loved dearly by her family and will be greatly missed.
Ilona is survived by her husband of 65 years Mike Sabo; daughter Susan Sabo; grandchildren Jamie Sabo, Jessica (Alex) Pacheco, and Jennifer (Travis) Wautlet; great-grandchildren Damien, Alexander, Lorelai, Peyton, and Vincent; along with other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her sons Joseph Sabo and Michael “Miki” Sabo.
Ilona will be laid to rest at St. Margaret Cemetery in Neenah. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
