Obituary
Timothy S. Knatzke, age 55, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 10, 2023, following a car accident. He was born June 21, 1967, in Manitowoc, son of Walter and Karen (Kubichka) Knatzke. He received his 1st Communion at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manitowoc.
Tim graduated from Valders High School in 1985. He then received an Associate's Degree from Lakeshore Technical College with a Journeyman Tool and Die degree. Tim then was employed with Tecumseh Products for 8 years before going to work for Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, where he's been employed for over 25 years.
Tim married Jennifer Grassell on October 4, 1997, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, camping, traveling with his family across the US, and spending time at the family cabin and land in Melnik, WI. Tim had a passion for tinkering on various projects and collecting antiques.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer; three children: Nicholas Knatzke, Jacob Knatzke, Savannah Knatzke; his mother, Karen Knatzke; two sisters: Terri (Dana) Coffman, Renee (Jason) Peterson; a brother, Keith (Michelle) Knatzke; father and mother-in-law, Gary and Kathy Grassell; and a brother-in-law, Robert Grassell.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Walter; grandparents: Nicholas and Norma Knatzke, Stanley and Emily Kubichka.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
