Obituary

Edward D. Rydz, age 61, died at his home unexpectedly on Friday, April 7, 2023. He was born July 23, 1961, in Port Washington, WI,  to Edward and LaVerne Rydz.

Ed married Frances Miller on February 17, 2002, in Florida. He was employed with ThedaCare at Home as a Lab Technician for many years until he retired for medical reasons. Ed enjoyed camping and sitting around the fire, fishing, and the outdoors.

Survivors include his wife, Frances; 7 children: Cherie Rydz, Johnathon Rydz, Deborah (Wesley) Walikonis, John Perry-Rydz, Jeremy Dombrowski, April (Joe) Winsor-Coffman, Sara Dombrowski; 8 grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Aaryanna, Casey, Skyler, Trenton, Jeremy, Kloe and Aiden; his mother, LaVerne Rydz; a brother, Randy (Jeni) Rydz; and two sisters: Sharon Davey, Patricia Williams.

Ed was preceded in death by his father, Edward; an granddaughter, Amanda-Christina; and a brother-in-law, Julius.

Ed will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.

I am just now learning of Eddie's passing. This is incredibly sad news. I remember " Little Eddie" as a youngster when visiting from Ohio. Our sincere condolences..
