Patricia Towns

Patricia Mae Towns, age 89, was welcomed into heaven by Jesus her Savior on December 3, 2025 from complications after a fall. 

Pat was born on April 6, 1936 to Nick & Margaret Verhagen.  She graduated from Neenah High School in 1953. 

Pat married John Towns Jr. in 1955 and built an unshakable marriage for 65 years until his passing in 2020.  Together they owned and operated the family business Neenah Tropicals pet store, which they originally started in their home.   

Pat’s greatest accomplishment was raising 6 children with patience, kindness, compassion and loving discipline.  She taught them to be honest, hardworking and respectful; encouraging them in their walk with the Lord and various ministry endeavors.  She hosted annual Thanksgiving & Christmas parties as well as Sunday lunches.  She was also known for her homemade chili.  When she had some spare time she enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with family.

Pat is survived by five children: Debbie (Steven) Krueger, Mike (Andrea) Towns, Chuck (Amy) Towns, Julie (Paul) Goldbeck, and Ed (Andrea) Towns.  A brother, David Verhagen, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; and numerous In-laws, nieces and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents Nick & Margaret Verhagen, John’s parents John Sr. & Esther Towns, brother Denis Verhagen, daughter Barb Weyenberg and  grandson Jon Trams.
  

Funeral services for Pat will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday December 12th at Menasha’s Westgor Funeral Home.  Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.  Everyone is invited to a luncheon to follow.  The service will also be livestreamed on Westgor’s YouTube page. 

Pat’s deep faith and acceptance of the salvation that only Jesus offers gives her family and friends great comfort knowing that she is in heaven with Him.
