SHARON BRENNAN

Sharon Ann Brennan, 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 18, 2023, with her family by her side. She was born October 13, 1932, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late John and Margaret (Moll) Applegate. Sharon married the love of her life, Ken Brennan on August 11, 1951. Ken and Sharon were married for 68 years, before Ken preceded Sharon in death January 18, 2020.

Sharon and Ken spent their early years of marriage in Milwaukee, raising their seven children. They moved their family to Neenah in 1969. She worked for the Neenah School District, working in the food service program at several area schools, making many friends over the years. Sharon was a faithful member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah. She loved to shop and had a great sense of fashion. Ken and Sharon enjoyed spending their winters in Arizona for over 25 years, visiting their children and grandchildren who lived there. Sharon's greatest love was her time spent with her children, 13 grandchildren, and soon to be 20 great-grandchildren.

Sharon will be deeply missed by her seven children: Gary Brennan, Kathy (Steve) Sturtevant, Jean (Dene) Storch, Mike (Ann) Brennan, Jim (Jamie) Brennan, Cheryl Stephenson, and Glen (Andrea) Brennan; two sisters: Joan Lajsic, and Gail(Milt) Delo; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken; her parents; parents' in-law; son in-law, Robert Stephenson; and a sister, Judy.

In keeping with Sharon's wishes, no services will be held.

Sharon's family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses on the fifth floor at Theda Clark, and to her hospice nurses, for all their care and compassion for Sharon and her family.

And a special thank you to her son Gary, for being her caregiver for the last three and a half years.
