JANET MILLER

Janet M. Miller, age 96, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 13, 2023. She was born May 8, 1927, in Neenah, daughter of the late Helmer and Bernice (Seelow) Johnson.

Janet worked briefly for Kimberly Clark and it was there she met James Miller. They were married on February 1, 1947.  He preceded her in death on October 3, 1997. 

Janet enjoyed gardening and her flowers, working with plastic canvas crafts, playing cards, and spending time with her family. She also loved spending time at their cottage on Rolling Stone Lake near Crandon and plunking on her piano. Janet knew and loved her personal savior, Jesus Christ.

Survivors include her four children: Carolyn Haferbecker, Mary (Ron) Rehbein, Jim (Joanne) Miller, Annette (Stewart) Jackson; 10 grandchildren: Heidi (Joe) Spartichino, Sallee (Jeremy) Stanton, Marcie (Kurt) Kramer, Steven (Amy) Miller, Timothy (Jessica) Miller, Rebecca (Leon) Muncey, Paul (Maggie) Sorensen, Michael Sorensen, Llahoma Jackson and Cassie (Brandon) Huven; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Janet was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Heather Ann Smith; son-in-law, Harold Haferbecker; her six brothers and sisters: Folger Johnson, June Boreson, Jalaine Olsen, Earl Wayne Johnson, Helmer Johnson Jr, and an infant brother, Ronald Johnson; four brothers and sisters-in-law: Maxine Stoffel, John Miller, Bob Miller and Olive Kluba.

The funeral service will be held at Noon on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:30am until the time of service.
