Obituary

Kenney L. Stafford, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 after a brief illness with his family by his side. He was born on February 26, 1935 to the late Kenneth and Edith (Gray) Stafford. After graduating from high school, Kenney joined the U.S. Air Force. He later went on to work for Kimberly Clark as an electrician for 40 years. He married Janice Miller on June 18, 1955, and they were blessed with three children. Kenney was a longtime, active member at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Neenah. He also enjoyed volunteering at the Bethesda Thrift Store in Neenah. Kenney loved spending time outdoors, especially when he was with his family at Post Lake. He was known to be an excellent handyman who could fix almost anything. Kenney will be remembered by his family as a devoted husband and a wonderful father and grandfather.

Kenney is survived by his children Lee (Nanci) Stafford, Pamela (James) Vorland, and Joe (Laurie) Stafford; grandchildren: Colby (Rachel Hinkley) Vorland, Corey (Dawn Heraly) Vorland, and Aaron Stafford; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Janice Stafford as well as his parents.

A private service will be held at the Westgor Funeral Home. Kenney will be laid to rest next to his wife at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Neenah.

I’m so sad to hear of Kenney’s passing. He was the kindest guy and I will so miss his great smile he always had when I would see him at Ascension clinic. Peace and prayers to his family.

I've known Kenny for over 40 years working at KC and there was not a more genuine person. My wife had the pleasure then of meeting and enjoying Kenny and Janice through the years. We've kept in touch through retirement and often reminisced our times together especially laughing at our KC trip to France.
