Obituary
Sharon Lee Orheim, age 83, went to her Heavenly home Thursday, February 22, 2024. She was born February 23, 1940 to the late Hugo and Minnie Werbelow in Shawano, and married Oscar “Bud” Orheim on September 3, 1960.
Sharon was an avid Packer fan who always had the Game Show Network on the television. She enjoyed gardening and eating sweets, specifically Rolos, 3 Musketeers, and ice cream. Her greatest joys were her Saturday night sleepovers and baking with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved spending time with her pups, Ritzi and Sammy.
Sharon will be missed by her three children: Cheryl Lawson; Greg (Tina) Orheim; and Jeff (Sandy) Orheim; grandchildren: Tina (Matt), Stacie (Junior), Ben (Tifani), Elizabeth, Nerissa (Hayden), and Aiesha (Derrick); and by nine great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister, Joyce Wockenfus, and by her nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud in 2006; her sister, Betty Retzlaff; and by her special friend, Noble Wofford; as well as many in-laws.
A memorial service for Sharon will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, W7265 School Rd., Greenville. A visitation will be held at church from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
Sharon's family would like to extend a warm thank you to the nurses and staff at Peabody Manor, especially Nikki, Paula, Robin, Vina, Emily, and Kaylee, and to Judy for doing such a great job on the eggs. Thank you also to Scott & Cindy Shermin and Pat & Cindy Van for their friendship and visits over the years.
