CAROL MILLER

Carol A. Miller, age 95, of Neenah passed away the afternoon of September 13, 2023. She was surrounded by her family the days prior to her death and passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side. Carol was born on October 14, 1927, in Neenah, WI, daughter of Albert and Caroline Angermeyer. 

Carol graduated from Neenah High School. She met the love of her life Walter K. “Bro” Miller, and they were married for 62 years before he passed away in 2010. She missed her beloved Bro till the day she died. They had three daughters: Marcia (John) Murdock, Ann (Gene) Gallmeier and Barbara (Jack) Renner. Carol and Bro have four grandchildren: Jason (Angeline) Gallmeier, Matt Losse, Erin Burk, and Jackson (Jori) Renner. And four great grandchildren; Julian and Preston Gallmeier and Riley and Sidney Burk. 

Carol was a lifelong member of The First Presbyterian Church in Neenah after joining in 1943. Through the years she enjoyed singing in the choir, her book club, and the knitting group. This is where she formed special relationships and made many cherished lifelong friends. 

Carol will be remembered for her love of tennis, badminton, and swimming along with knitting, quilting, and sewing. She loved to give handmade gifts to all of her family and friends. But her favorite project was knitting hats for the Neenah School kids- making more than 100 colorful hats each year. She surrounded herself with the color blue and adored each of their many dogs.

There will be a memorial service at First Presbyterian Church in Neenah on Friday, October 6th. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with a service following at 11:00 am. We will then have an informal gathering and lunch for family and friends.
