My late husband, Lenard Eugene (Gene) Thompson, USN, RET, DEC. served with Terry on the USS FORRESTAL.  Terry was one of five other sailors that Gene stayed in contact with after leaving FORRESTAL. I heard many stories and have pictures of the shenanigans they got into while in Mayport, Florida, and Spain and Italy and France…. I know Gene has found Terry, they’re having a rum and Coke and Gene is handing Terry a fishing pole telling how great the fishing is and they’re all keepers. Terry, Fair Winds and Following Seas. My deepest sympathies go to Sheryl, the boys and all extended family. Sheryl, take comfort that I am grieving with you, but so happy that Terry is in God’s hands. With Love, Cindy
