Obituary

Sharon A. Erickson, age 63, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Neenah, surrounded by her family. She was born February 11, 1960, in Neenah, daughter of the late James and Betty (Haldemann) Buri.

Sharon worked as a CNA and truly loved her job and the families she helped loved her too.  She enjoyed being a grandmother and spending time with her family, cooking and baking with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her two daughters: Samantha Erickson and her significant other, Clint Lusich, Krista Erickson; three grandchildren: Zander, Kase and Kinslee; two sisters: Pam (Tom) Hanke, Kathleen (Anthony Baca) Buri-Baca; her aunt, Donna (Tom) Schinner; an uncle, David Buri; and dear friends: Vicky Wolosek, Kim Kofnetka and Debbie Robley.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Alan "Sam" Erickson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Noon on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the hour of service. We are so happy we got to know Sharon through Tom and Donna Schinner. She was such a fun person! What a great laugh she had!  We have some really wonderful memories. She will be missed!!

Samantha, I am a member of the a little of that a little of this group with Jillian and I just want to express my deepest sympathies in the last of your mother. I lost my mother in July so I feel your pain. Please take care of yourself and your children at this time and cherish the memories that you will have forever.

I met your mom when she worked at the blood center in Appleton. What a giving loving person she was. She brought so much laughter into my life and others. Will always remember her as a beacon of joy.
