CHARLOTTE DAHL

March 13, 1932 - November 14, 2023

Obituary

Charlotte A. (Konkol) Dahl, age 91, passed away peacefully at her Neenah home of the past 62 years on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. She was born March 13, 1932, in Menasha, daughter of the late Theodore and Regina (Schommer) Konkol.

Charlotte graduated from Menasha High School in 1951. She married William Dahl Jr. on January 5, 1952. He preceded her in death on October 24, 2021.  Together, they had six children.

Charlotte loved music: playing both the piano and the clarinet and singing in numerous bands and The Living Christmas Tree at Calvary Bible Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who never spoke an ill word about anyone. She was a beautiful Christian whose unwavering faith inspired those around her. The world is a better place having had her in it.

Charlotte enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, going for both car rides and walks, sitting on her front porch swing (and offering treats to any dog passing by), playing cribbage, and spending time with her family. She was a long-time member of Calvary Bible Church.

Survivors include her children: Christopher Dahl, Kim (Roger) Delfosse, Roxanne (Mark) Ezzard, Brenda (Don) Wilson, April Dahl; as well as by 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Terrance (Gail) Dahl; sister-in-law, Patti Konkol; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Charlotte was preceded in death by a daughter, Becky Dahl; three brothers: Theodore Konkol Jr, Kenneth Konkol, Richard Konkol; and two sisters: Marion Gonnering and Shirley Phillips.

The funeral service will be held at 6:30PM on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4:00PM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated in memory of Charlotte to the Alzheimer's Association at https://act.alz.org

It's very rare if ever, that in your journey of life one encounters someone as Beautiful, and as Loving as Charlotte. But when you do, consider yourself "Blessed"! Her presence instantly demanded the Utmost Respect, not only for Herself but for that of Her Family. Charlotte was and still is a Woman of Pure Class, Elegance, Style, and Taste, and Sophistication which she instilled in each of Her Children. Her Love for Her Family and those who "Knew Her" had No boundaries. Her Life's work was her Family, and the lives of those she touched and those who knew her. "Well Done Charlotte, Well Done"
