TIMOTHY ACHESON

TIMOTHY ACHESON

March 14, 1953 - November 23, 2023

Obituary

At the age of 70 years old, a man known for his loving heart, selflessness and caring for anyone who he met was laid to rest. Timothy Acheson was called home on November 23rd, 2023. He was born on March 14, 1953 to Lloyd Acheson and Dorothy Apitz in Neenah WI.

Timothy graduated in 1971 from Neenah High School and was an excellent athlete who excelled in football as the quarterback for Neenah High school who made the wall of fame. With his excellence in football, he was scouted out  by the NFL teams, the Packers and Redskins.

Timothy suffered with an addiction that led to the end of his life on Earth. Although he suffered an addiction it sure didn't define the kind of person he truly was.

On Thursday November 23, 2023 at 8:41pm Timothy got a call. The call was for him to be pain free from his addiction and disease. Throughout Timothy's time on Earth he made an everlasting mark on everyone's hearts whether that was family, friends or anyone he met.

Timothy Acheson was the most loving friend,  father, grandpa, great grandpa, and cousin and will be forever remembered as that.

He is survived by his daughter Tammy (Scott) Van Linn. He is also survived by his two sisters, Cheryl Acheson and Colleen (Marly) Klemp. He has 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild he is survived by, Sebastian Hansen, Aspen Van Linn, and Gauge Van Linn. Sebastian Hansen's daughter Taylynn Hansen was Timothy's great granddaughter and also known as “little peanut” to him.

Our family would like to thank Theda Clark hospital, especially the nurses and doctors in the ICU, in Neenah Wisconsin for the wonderful care that you gave Timothy for the last few weeks of his life until his death.

There is going to be a celebration of life to come at a later date for Timothy's immediate family and friends.

I have many great memories with Tim.  We went to high school together and certainly enjoyed many great times together.  I remember the time i borrowed his new BSA and rolled it over.  I thought he was going to kill me but all he said was fix it and we’re good. Great friend I will miss him
