Kathleen Jones

Kathleen “Kathi” R. Jones, age 76 of Neenah, passed away late November 30, 2023 after bravely battling cancer. She was born June 19, 1947, daughter of Jeannette and Robert Caron. Kathi was a 1965 graduate of Neenah High School. On November 7, 1970, she married Thomas Jones and together they had two children.

Kathi worked for companies such as Fundway and Overly's until she became a stay at home mom, later going back to work part-time and assisting at Modern Cash Register Systems, the business Tom started which the family still runs. In her free time, Kathi loved spending time with her grandkids and attending ALL of their events, cheering on her beloved Packers, Brewers, Badgers or Bucks, snowmobiling, gardening, and hanging out with her friends. Kathi was a devoted member of St. Paul Lutheran Church having served on the council as well as countless other committees, providing meals and leading the women's bible study.

Kathi is survived by her husband of 53 years, Tom; daughter, Becky (Jeff) Gillis; son, Bryan (Alissa); grandchildren: Jenna, Aaron, Abby, and Ashley; sisters: Theresa (Ron) Riehl; Noreen Caron; Pam (Keith)Oudenhoven; brother, Mike Caron; and many other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and stepdads.

A funeral service for Kathi will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 200 N. Commercial St., Neenah, Rev. Amy Engebose officiating. A visitation will be held at church from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Kathi will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Kathi's name.

The Jones family would like to give a special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the UW Carbone Cancer Center and St. Elizabeth hospital for their care and compassion.
