BRANDON NEUBER

June 09, 1972 - December 24, 2023

Obituary

Brandon Lee Neuber, age 51, of Neenah, WI, passed away peacefully at home on December 24th, 2023, after a valiant fight with colon cancer. Brandon was born in Neenah on June 9th, 1972, and spent his early childhood living in Menasha, raised by his mother, Cheryl (Neuber) Landwehr, before moving to Greenleaf in 1980, where he attended St. Mary Catholic grade school. He went on to attend Wrightstown High School, where he played basketball and spent the more enjoyable hours of his day in shop class with favorite teacher and mentor, Mr. Ed Dietz.

After high school, Brandon moved to Central Wisconsin and started what would become a family of four children. Eventually life brought the growing family back to the Neenah-Menasha area, where Brandon worked as an auto repair service technician at several area shops, most notably Les Stumpf Ford, and eventually on to Harry H Long Moving Storage & Express, Inc, where he worked as the shop's diesel mechanic until his cancer diagnosis. Throughout his life, Brandon enjoyed spending many summers with Earl's Rides, the family carnival business started by his grandfather, where he drove truck, performed maintenance, and operated rides.

On May 15th, 2009, Brandon married Amy Biel in Appleton, WI.

Brandon enjoyed spending time taking meticulous care of his vehicles and tinkering on projects around the house, as well as hitting the trails up north with the family, riding his Harley-Davidson, and later in life, by getting away with his wife Amy to Huckleberry Acres campground in New London, where they made many amazing friends.

Brandon was always looking for the next adventure, whether it be vehicles, ATVs/UTVs, campers or motorcycles. He was a quiet, simple man who would help just about anyone with just about anything. He liked to remain busy and had a very strong work ethic, holding multiple jobs at a time nearly his entire adult life.

Brandon is survived by his wife Amy; children: Zack (Amber) Neuber, Brooke Neuber, Ben Neuber, Braeden Neuber; grandchildren: Octavia, and another due in May; siblings: Abby (Jason) Konopka-Newling, Gabriel (Carrie) Konopka, Apryl (Ryan) Hunkins; step-father: Stephen Konopka; in-laws: David and Charlotte Biel, Sara (Jay) Biel, Jaimie (Jason) Monnett, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Earl "Manny" Neuber II and his mother, Cheryl (Neuber) Landwehr.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the many doctors, nurses and staff who took care of Brandon, both here at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton (Oncology) and UW-Madison hospital, for giving us precious additional time. Additionally, Brandon benefitted on multiple occasions from those who donated blood to the Community Blood Center - Thank you all!

In keeping with Brandon's wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
