MAXINE STAFFELD

Obituary
Maxine J. Staffeld, age 82, passed away peacefully on Christmas day at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. She was born August 21, 1941, in Neenah, daughter of the late Earl and Mildred (Dennis) Buelow.
Maxine graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1959. She immediately went to work for Marathon Corp. as a secretary and she worked there until starting a family. Maxine married Carlton Staffeld on July 12, 1969.
Maxine was an avid and competitive bowler and enjoyed gardening, canning vegetables, watching the Packers and spending time up north in Mountain. She truly loved spending time with her grandchildren. Maxine was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Neenah.
Survivors include her husband, Carlton; two sons: Keith (Valerie) Staffeld, Craig (Tricia) Staffeld; four grandchildren: Evan, Brody, Kyle and Nolan; two sisters: Constance (Richard) Gullickson, Janet (Ken) Brusda; and a sister-in-law, Karen (Jack) Hultman.
A memorial service will be held at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 30, 2023, with Deacon Dan Laurent officiating. The visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
