TIMOTHY WOECKNER

TIMOTHY WOECKNER

April 25, 1957 - February 04, 2024

Obituary

Timothy G. Woeckner, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 4, 2024. He was born April 25, 1957, in Neenah, son of the late Gerald and Geraldine Woeckner.

Tim was employed with Choice Machine until a medical condition forced him into retirement.
Prior to that he ran an Ebay business from home for many years, selling anything and everything Sporting Goods.
This also allowed him time to be home while raising our son Carson.
Tim also was Carson's troop Den Leader for Cub Scouts!

Tim (Wilbur) left this life to join with our Lord God Jehovah and our Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Timothy (TJ) Woeckner.

Survived Family members left behind include his Life Partner Suzanna M Mattson, son Carson Mattson, brother Tom Woeckner, sisters Kathy Woeckner Kemps, Mary Woeckner Mullen. Nieces and Nephew's Bryce Woeckner, Trent Woeckner, Paige Woeckner, Laurel Mullen, Reece Mullen, Kelsey Swan Geiger, Katrina Swan, Kaarin Swan, Kimberly Kemps, Uncle Leslie (Les) Woeckner, Aunt Susan Harris, Thomas Harris and Marsha Woeckner Schmidt,

For those that knew Tim (Wilbur) his Great Passions were in his Love of Music, playing banjo in a band with Close friends, his love of nature, the Great Northwoods, Hunting, Fishing, Gardening and spending time passing on his knowledge to family and friends.

He loved dancing, singing karaoke, playing darts, shooting pool and socializing with family and friends. Tim (Wilbur) was a Member of the Twin City Rod and Gun Club for many years where he shot archery. He also served on the club's board.

Tim's lifelong dream started when he built a home on 18 acres bringing a piece of the Great Northwoods to his home! He planted Popple trees, pines and a Tamarack tree he brought home from up north. He then planted Maple tree's he grew from seed, Black Walnut trees, Oak trees, White and Ponderosa pines and many other trees that would attract wildlife.

Tim and I dedicated 5 acres on the land for Monarch Butterflies and other ground nesting birds.

As a result of Tim's vision to bring the Northwoods home, it is now the home of many different wildlife. Deer are born here yearly, Turkeys are hatched here every year, Ducks nest on the creek, Birds of prey, song birds, Baltimore Orioles raise their young here every year. Many other wildlife call this place home.

Tim always called this his Little bit of NorthWoods Paradise right outside his backdoor!

To say Tim (Wilbur) will be missed by his family and friends does not even express how much he was Loved and Respected.

Until, We All meet and are reunited in Heaven, We Love You.

In Lieu of flowers a Memorial will be set, Thank You.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from Noon until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.

The most compassionate and exceptional man that will be forever in my heart. The most important thing that Wilbur taught me, was what family really is about.

The crew at the FFI will miss Wilbur a lot! The Northwoods won't be the same without him during hunting season. Sorry for your loss. We won't be at Wilbur's celebration of life, but we will be thinking of you and Carson.
