Obituary
Marjorie H. Knudsen (nee Hartfiel), age 76, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. She was born August 28, 1947, in Weyauwega, WI, daughter of the late William and Anna (Pagel) Hartfiel.
Marjorie loved building things with her brother, Roger. She would paint and stain their projects when they were completed. Marjorie enjoyed fishing and boat rides, gardening and flowers, feeding the birds, car rides with her grandson, Cole, lunch dates and shopping with her sisters. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren, never missing their sporting events.
Marjorie was always there for her family taking care of them, even while she was sick.
Survivors include her three daughters: Gwen (James) Arndt, Shelly Knudsen, Jessica Popp; six grandchildren: Megan (Brandon) Selle, Rebecca (Andrew) Jagla, Emily (Davis) Mauk, Allison (Ben) Dahlke, Brianna Popp, Cole Popp and his significant other, Julia Springhetti; six great-grandchildren: Claire Selle, Emerson and Carter Jagla, August and Jonas Mauk, Zoey Dahlke, and baby Leah expected in March; her three sisters: Darlene Ernst, Donna Clark, Sharon (Ronnie) Nollenberg.
Marjorie was preceded in death by three brothers: Donald Hartfiel, Roger Hartfiel, Stanley Hartfiel; and four sisters: Mary (Bernard) Kruse, Shirley (Robert) Hanson, Patricia (David) Christensen, Cynthia Hartfiel.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
Margie's sisters would like to thank Jessica, Brianna and Cole for always taking care of Margie. No matter what, they were there for her.
