LORRAINE WAHLERS

Lorraine Elda (Schneider Wideman) Wahlers, age 86 passed away on August 20, 2014 of natural causes at home. She was the daughter of Antone Schneider and Adeline Plath Schneider Wideman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Wahlers, and her brother James Wideman. Lorraine was a lifelong resident of Neenah/Menasha and a longtime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Survivors include: a brother, John (Sally) Wideman; sister, Jacqueline Bordeaux; sister-in-law, Betty Wideman; nephews: Christopher (Tish) Bordeaux; Terry (special friend Scott) Bordeaux; Fred (Jennie) Bordeaux; Rodney, Brian, and Danny Wideman; nieces: Jeanette Wideman; JoAnn (Jon) Mignon; and Bobbi (Jeremy) Olson; great nieces and nephews: Heather Yoder; Shawn (Savannah) Bordeaux; Ashley (John) Maloney; Britney Bordeaux; Tiffany Stafford; Hannah Bordeaux; Rachel Bordeaux; Lauren Bordeaux; Kylee Olson; Dylan Olson; great-great nieces: Tayler Gunderson and Natalie Bordeaux; and friends and the family of Louise (Joe) Chervanka; Joe and Andy Chervanka. There will be no formal service at the funeral home per Lorraine's wishes. She will be cremated with a small service to be held at the cemetery for immediate family only. It is her hope that her friends will understand and remember her as they knew her prior to her passing. In honor of Lorraine, she would like any monetary donations sent to the Neenah Animal Shelter and/or PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) in her name.
