As a high school student, made me feel so comfortable and respected when I walked into STAR to volunteer. She was amazingly good at her job and was beloved by everyone that worked with her. Sue had a wicked sense of humor that she only let those of us that worked with her see occasionally because she was the picture of professional. Right before she left STAR, she advocated for a baby bonding policy for me as I become a mom. She shared her adoption story and how she saved all her PTO to have a few weeks of baby bonding time. She wanted to be a part of offering something more to me for my family. Maria and Matthew, she spoke of you both so fondly and so often I feel I know you. Sending you all my deepest condolences on the passing of a truly beautiful soul.

Every time she wakled in our office, her smile spread to others like a wild fire. She was so strong and positive. I will always remember her and the cute hats or scarves she wore. She always looked beautiful outside to match the beauty inside. Dorrie Houk

December 27,2015. Great girls weekend in Oshkosh. I knew Susie for only a short time. (Middle school) but always considered her a friend and even after I left Oshkosh, we still remained friends. My condolences to the entire family

This was a beautiful tribute to a very special lady. Sue will be missed dearly but will be carried in the hearts of those she touched. You are all in my thoughts. Praying for your peace knowing that Susie is no longer in pain and looking down on you as your angel.
