Mr Chad and I were associates at work. He and I would make jokes and have meaningful conversations between shift changes. I looked forward to seeing him. He always had a smile on his face, always in high spirits even when he might've been in pain or going through his own personal matters. We had a great conversation the Sunday before he transitioned. I will truly miss him. May his soul rest in eternal peace. My condolences to his family may they find comfort during these times.

Once while playing handbells I loudly smacked my bell into the pulpit during the middle of a song. Chad was next to me and laughed so hard that his face turned red and everyone thought he was the one who did it. We chuckled about that for years. What a wonderful guy, will miss you Chad.

For some reason I was recently saying to myself "here comes the truck", whenever I saw a truck. This was the obtuse, complicated play that we ran when playing basketball against Josh and Andy or Mike or whomever. I don't remember the actual play, but "here comes the truck" meant we were going to dazzle everyone with our Globetrotter like skills. Hard to believe we're here talking about childhood memories because someone we know has passed, but when this happens it's good to share the memories. (forever) We will all miss you, Chad.

Birthday twin. Pumpkin buddy. Track teammate. Chad C. Neuman, may you rest in peace! Back in the day, when Citizens Bank was looking for a boy my age in kindergarten to be in their pumpkin calendar photo, I said, “Well of course … Chad Neuman. He has the same birthday as me!” From that day, to high school track miles, many memories. You left this world the day before our birthday, but you’re forever part of my story. 🤍🎃
