GARY BRIGHUM

Gary Brighum passed away on April 6, 2024.  He was born on October 24, 1944, in Portage to the late Gordon and Marietta Brighum.  Gary married his high school sweetheart Peggy (Breaker) September 1967.

Gary retired from Banta Book after 40 years.  His hobbies included collector cars, boating, bowling, collecting old radios and attending car shows. His favorite car being the black 1958 Chev Belaire.  He also loved NASCAR racing and attended several races over the years.  He enjoyed spending time with Kenny and Pat as well as his car club friends. 

He is survived by his loving wife Peggy, their 3 children, Jeff (Daphne) Brighum, De Pere, Dan (Amy) Brighum, Menasha and Krissy (Sean) Ely, Appleton. Bumpa to his grandsons Matthew and Jake. 4 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren, Brother and sister-in-law Tom and Nancy Breaker, Neenah, special cousin Darlene (Jeff) Smith, Exeland. Furry friend Boots and numerous relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Marietta Brighum, sister Mary Jane and brother-in-law Les Getlinger. In laws Dewey and Dorothy Breaker

The funeral service will be held Friday, April 12, 11:30 at St. Garbriel Church, 900 Geiger Street, Neenah with Father Bob Kollath officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church from 10:30 until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
