Obituary

Gerald J. Dedering “Jeff”, age 71, died unexpectedly Friday, April 19, 2024, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Neenah. He was born December 31, 1952, in Neenah, son of the late Gerald and Sylvia Dedering.

Jeff was an auto mechanic and had several jobs through the years. He retired from Napa Auto Parts store. He loved Nascar and racing, watching football and the outdoors. Jeff loved spending time with his grandchildren and his son-in-law.

Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer (James) Campbell; a son, Jason, Dedering; nine grandchildren; a brother, Joe Dedering; and two cousins: Greg (Kathy) Vosters, Vicki Merkle.

Jeff was preceded in death by a son, Jacob Seeley; and a brother, John Dedering.

Cremation will take place and no service at this time.

My cousin Jeff always had a ready smile, a hug and a 'how are you' when we'd see each other. My best memories are the Christmas Eve's our families spent together. Jeff had a contagious laugh and a happy spirit about him. Jeff will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Jeff and I were cousins that grew up together more as brothers and close friends and we shared many memories from our not so serious and usually hilarious hunting and fishing trips to our daily conversations when we would tell each other how we would solve all of the problems in the world. I will miss his early morning texts asking me if I was watching the beautiful sunrise or listening to the birds singing early in the morning as he enjoyed doing. I will miss his sense of humor and all the laughs we shared. He was always there for me as I was for him no matter what so Jeff if you can hear me, I sure could use you right now. Your memory will live on in my heart. Goodbye brother, rest in peace.

Absolutely Blown Away, just spoken to him days before his passing, seemed like everything was fine with him. I'll miss him, such a great guy and friend. I hope your living the Highlife now!
