GLADYS SCHWANDT

Gladys L Schwandt, age 91, passed away peacefully at home on April 20, after living with Alzheimer's.

She was born April 1, 1933, in Gladstone, MI, daughter of the late George and Elsie (Holm) Lamberg. 

Gladys married Edwin “Ted” Schwandt July 31, 1951, and enjoyed 58 years of marriage until his passing in 2009.

Gladys loved her customer service career at Gladfelter Paper, Neenah Paper and Kimberly Clark. She was always full of life, and loved travelling, crossword puzzles, and reading.

Gladys was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church in Neenah. Survivors include her son, Eric Schwandt, Menasha; daughter, Kari Schwandt, Neenah; daughter-in-law, Mary Schwandt, Eagan, MN; and grandson, Alec (Grace Sacher) Schwandt, Eagan, MN; many nieces and nephews; companion pup, Gemma; and the Rose family. She was preceded in death by her son Ted Schwandt, brothers and sisters. 

A memorial service will be held at 5: 00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until the hour of service. Entombment will follow at the Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum in Neenah.
