MARGARET WAUTLET

Margaret O. Wautlet, age 98, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Lakeshore Manor in Oshkosh. She was born on February 11, 1917 in Evanston, Illinois, daughter of the late Gunnar and Hilda (Andersen) Miller. On November 5, 1938 she married Mervin M. Wautlet in Menominee, Michigan. The marriage was blessed with three children and 67 years before Mervin preceded her in death in 2006. Margaret enjoyed baking, playing cards, and traveling. Above all, she loved time spent with her family. She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Bette (Dennis) Vanesky, Kay Herzfeldt; grandchildren: Rick (Sandy) Dausey, Tim (Lori) Dausey, Chad Herzfeldt, Heather (Sp fr. Nate) Herzfeldt; great grandchildren: Nicole (Jesus) Bautista Garcia, Alicia and Michael Dausey, Drew Vienz; great great grandson, Mateo Bautista Garcia; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, Mervin, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard, and son-in-law, Jan Herzfeldt. Funeral Mass for Margaret will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel Parish (900 Geiger Street) with Father Larry Seidl officiating. Entombment beside Mervin will immediately follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. The family would like to thank the staffs of Lakeshore Manor and Heartland Hospice for the care and compassion shown to Margaret.
