Obituary
Leonard Freeman Kelley, age 87, passed away on December 29, 2025.
Leonard also known as Lenny or Okie left his home of Yonkers, OK in 1956 at the age of 17. From Oklahoma he went to the Washington State. After about a year he was homesick so he went back to Oklahoma only to find himself traveling again to California and then back to Washington State. In the summer of 1958 Lenny left Washington State to come to Wisconsin to only work for the summer. He fell in love with the Wisconsin people for their respect and ethics and decided to stay.
Lenny worked for Smiley and Elaine Miller of Clintonville in the early 1960’s after which he moved to the Fox Valley Area and made Neenah/Menasha his forever home. Lenny worked full time at Wisconsin Tissue Mills from 1964 to 1997 when he retired. He also worked part time for Edward Hayes, Sr. as a painter for Hayes & Son’s Painting. In his younger years he loved racing stock cars and motorcycles. He was an avid sportsman who loved hunting and fishing especially the time he was able to spend with his sons, grandsons and great grandsons at their property first in Townsend then Iola, WI. Lenny loved carving wood and making knives and gifts for people he cared about.
Lenny married the love of his life Alice (Dahl) Kelley on February 27, 1960. Lenny and Alice had three children together Scott (Cindy) Kelley, David Kelley and Patty (Dave) Roloff. Lenny also has a daughter from a previous relationship Becky (Scott) Boutilier. Lenny has eight grandchildren Jeremy (Holly) Kelley, Adam (Becky) Kelley, Dayton (Ben) Stumpf, Taylor (Holly) Roloff, Megan Kelley and Matt Kelley, Nathan Boutilier and Erin (Zac)Rains. Lenny has nine great grandchildren Liam, Miles, Olivia, Cash, Ali, Brandon, Cam, Zoe and Nora. Lenny also has several Step Grandchildren.
Lenny is survived by six sisters and three brothers and their spouses along with two sister-in-law’s, one brother-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and incredible friends.
The Kelley family would like to thank Lexi, Brock, and Jeannie from Theda Care Hospice who gave such amazing care to Lenny.

A memorial service will be held on Friday January 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty Avenue, Neenah, WI 54956. A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live streamed and found on the Westgor Funeral Home Youtube page.
