BRENDA HOCKENBERRY

Brenda M. Hockenberry (Gietman), age 58 of Oshkosh, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024. She was born April  24, 1966 in Jacksonville, FL to Mary Elizabeth “Liz” (Carroll) and Peter J. Gietman. The family moved to Wisconsin and Brenda was raised in Appleton and was a 1984 graduate of Menasha High School.

Brenda was a hard worker and was proud of her work with 4Imprint and ThedaCare over the years. Brenda enjoyed fishing with her husband Pat and camping with her friends. Brenda also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Brenda is survived by her husband Pat, whom she has been with for 23 years; her mother, Liz Gietman; and by her siblings: Kevin (Shelly) Gietman and Mary (Susan Maltby) Gietman. She is further survived by her nieces: Lindsey (Jake) Morley; Leah Gietman; Lauren Hockenberry; and Whitney Hockenberry; her mother-in-law, Monique Weiss; and her brother-in-law, Robert Hockenberry. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Peter; her infant sister, Margaret; and by her father-in-law, Richard Weiss.

A memorial service for Brenda will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until the service. Brenda will be laid to rest in a private burial at Oak Hill Cemetery.
