Obituary

David Dean Seifert was born on July 23, 1953, and left us too soon on May 5, 2025, at the age of 71. Although his time with us was not long enough, it was filled with warmth, laughter, and love.

David had a unique way of making the people in his life feel special. His caring nature and heart of gold were apparent to all who knew him. Whether you were a lifelong friend or someone he just met, he had a knack for making you feel valued and heard. His conversations were always insightful, laced with a sense of humor that could lighten any mood.

David was a moderately religious man, grounded in his Christian faith, which guided his actions and the way he treated others. He was a thoughtful, kind, and loyal friend, qualities that were evident in every aspect of his life. He cherished spending time with his family, and we all knew how much he loved us.

Among his many passions, David had a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. He loved sketching, capturing the world through his eyes with a pencil and paper. He found peace in walking and taking care of the animals he adored so much. And of course, his dedication to the Green Bay Packers was unwavering—every game was a special event, celebrated with friends and family.

David's love for life extended to his joy of getting together with friends, whether it was sharing a meal or simply enjoying each other's company. He created memories that will last a lifetime.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Edwin Seifert; and survived by his sister, Pamela; and his niece Amanda.

Thank you, David, for being the wonderful brother and friend that you were. We will carry your memory in our hearts, and your legacy of love and laughter will live on in all of us. Rest in peace, dear brother.

A private family service will be held in David's honor.

What a wonderful obit. You put together for your brother. Joanne and I went to HS with David. Class of 71. David was always  a gentleman and I would always give him a ride when I saw him walking. He loved to walk. First to Shopko then to Walmart. Joanne also went to grade school with David and in parting David would always say “say hi to Joanne”. I will miss seeing him…
