RICHARD MINORIK

Richard F. Minorik, age 88 of Neenah, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born March 9, 1936 in Milwaukee, son of the late Louis and Lorraine (Strauss) Minorik.

Richard graduated from Solomon Juneau High School in 1952; UW-Milwaukee in 1958 with a degree in upper elementary education; and from DeKalb University with a master's degree in educational administration.

Richard married his beloved wife, Mary Ann Reinders on August 8, 1959. He worked in the field of education as a teacher, principal, and administrator for 20 years, taking a break for sales work and then finished two years as a gifted and talented coordinator before retirement.

Richard's survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary Ann; two sons: Mark (Aimee Matheny) Minorik; and Jay (Darci Sudlak) Minorik; two grandchildren: Andrew Minorik and Annalise Minorik; sister, Dorothy Filber; brother, David (Virginia) Minorik; many nieces and nephews; Michael (Michelle) Zimmerman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division St., Neenah, with Fr. Nonito Barra officiating. A visitation will be held at church from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Richard's name to the St. Margaret Mary High School Religious Education program, or St. Margaret Mary Endowment Fund.
